The BEST sugar free protein bar is here!

Oh my gosh you guys.  I tried THE best sugar free protein bar today.  It is made by Small World Beauty and the flavor is Coconut Coco Cream.  It tastes JUST like a Mounds bar.  Seriously.

So what is your first hesitation with sugar free products?  Wondering about artificial sweeteners?  These bars have no artificial sweeteners, no trans fats and no hydrogenated oils.  They are also gluten free.  Isn’t that awesome!  And they taste SO GOOD.  Hubby even liked them.  He had a bite and said “Oh, that’s good.  It tastes like a Mounds bar.”  So there you have it.  We all know he doesn’t like fake diet foods.

And here’s the best news…  You can buy these bars from… ME!  They are $2 a bar and I will have tons in my little hands in about a week!  I am so excited about this, you guys.  These are so good and so good for you.  I definately feel good about telling my clients they can include these in their plans.  Let me just say though, that nothing beats out whole foods.  BUT, we all need something we can grab on the run or keep in our purse, right?!  This is way better than any protein bar you’d get at the store.

If you live close to me it wil be easy to purchase from me.  If not I can ship them to you and regular shipping charges will apply.  I will only ship if a minimum of 5 bars are purchased (only $10!).  But if you are local to me you can buy any quantity.

Now, speaking of my clients, some of you know I am running a Biggest Loser Contest for the month of January.  There are 7 opportunities to win prizes and a free Small World Beauty bar will be included in EVERY prize pack!!!  So everyone involved better start working their booties so you can try one of these bars for free!

(Legal Disclaimer:  I was sent these bars as a free promotion to review and give away to clients.  This fact in no ways affects the honesty in my review.  I really do LOVE these bars.)

Strawberry Overnight Oats and Homemade Chocolate Coconut Protein Bars

This morning I almost didn’t get up.  If it wasn’t for the fact that I was running with Saundra I probobly would have stayed in bed!  I’m glad I got up though because we had a great run and some good girl bonding time.

After my run I had a bowl of Strawberry Overnight Oats.  It was really great!

The night before I put these things in the bowl:

  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 T. homemade sugar free strawberry syrup

This morning I topped it all off with:

  • 1/4 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 T. flax seed
  • Strawberries
  • 1 T. peanut butter
  • Stevia

It made a great big bowl and tasted really good to my hungry tummy!

After taking Caleb to school I wanted to try out this homemade protein bar recipe I got from a friend.

  • 4 scoops chocolate protein powder
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2/3 cup flax seed
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Splenda/Granulated Stevia to taste

Mix all that together in a bowl.  It’s going to be hard to mix.  Just keep on stirring.

I then pressed it all into a bread pan and pressed some chocolate chips and coconut into the top.

That mixture is in the freezer and when it’s hardened I will get it out and cut it into 6 bars to individually wrap.

I plan on having one with a smoothie for lunch so I’ll tell you all how they are!

I have a lot on my to do list for today:

  • Laundry
  • Plan tomorrow’s workouts for clients
  • Cut veggies for salads
  • Make a CD for camp tomorrow
  • Email clients about camp
  • Update my blog books
  • Spring clean:  organize the “computer desk area”

I hope you are all have a great morning so far!
